Student Finance Wales - Adult Dependants' Grant

General Description

The Adult Dependents’ Grant values up to £2,732 per year and depends on personal circumstances. A student is eligible to recive Adult Dependants’ Grant if you have a partner or another adult who is financially dependent on you. You can apply at Local Authority at the same time when you apply for other student’s supports. The Student Loans Company will pay the grant over three installments if you are eligible in addition to the other supports.

Requirements

Only full-time students can apply who also have dependent children can be eligible for Adult Dependents’ Grant. Applicants must be permanent residents in Wales.
