A student who is responsible for a child (children) aged under 16 (under 19 if still in full-time non-advanced education) The child (children) must live as part of the student's household in the UK.

General Description
The Donald Bates Bequest fund supports student parents who experience financial hardship. These needs-based awards are generally around 500 Pounds Sterling, although this may differ from case to case. Priority will be given to lone parents, student couples with dependent children and to self-funding students not in receipt of any sponsorship, bursary, grant or training bursary towards the cost of tuition fees or living expenses.
Requirements
Students must be in full-time postgraduate course at the University of Warwick. Students must also have a dependent child in their household. The child should be under 16, or under 19 if it is in full-time, non-advanced education. Students must submit detailed accounts of income and expenses in order to be considered.
