Hilary Mantel - Hilary Mantel Creative Writing Award

General Description

The Hilary Mantel Creative Writing Award is available to US students applying to the MFA in creative writing course at Kingston University. The scholarship is given to two students and the value of each is £10,000. It is designed for the two most promising teachers, writers, and scholars. A separate application is not required as students from the US who apply for the MFA and meet the criteria are automatically considered.

Requirements

To get this award the student should be the best scholar, writer, or teacher. This is proven by their MFA course application, writing sample, letters of recommendation, and possible phone interview.
