College Art Association - Professional-Development Fellowships

General Description

The College Art Association (CAA) offers Professional-Development Fellowships in Art History and Visual Arts to artists and art historians. Applicants must be enrolled in the MFA and PhD programs and can only use the grant amount to assist their advancement from graduate studies to professional inclusion in applicable sectors. The award is worth $5,000. Recipients also get free CAA membership for one year. Additional benefits include complimentary registration at the annual conference.

Requirements

To be considered applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States and intend to receive their MFA or PhD degree in the year following their application. They must also be an active member of the CAA.
