About this scholarship

General Description

Dr. John Lyons, department of Religion and Theology at the University of Bristol, is leading the offered one founded PhD studentship for working on a project. The project is going to be focused on both the spatial plane, the meeting points among the provided spaces for the deaf people in the church and the spaces produced by those deaf people in it. This PhD studentship is going to focus upon notions of dystopia and utopia since they are mobilized by the deaf people and by the church regarding the deaf people. The funding will be an annual maintenance payment and full tuition fees for three years.

Requirements

Applicants should have an upper second-class degree in addition to a taught Masters degree. EU or home fee status.
