General Description

The Department for Politics and International Studies (PAIS) offers 15 awards, all worth 50% of tuition fees. These are open to all MA/Diploma students. 7 of these will be awarded to full-time UK or EU students. 6 Will go to overseas students from outside the EU. Finally, two will be awarded to part-time students. The latter focuses more on mature British students, but may be awarded to any part-time student. This is a not a needs-based scholarship, so financial circumstances do not influence this scholarship.

Requirements

Every student who enrols in an eligible course may apply. The award will be based on outstanding academic performance Outstanding case for support. In addition, the student must have interesting and relevant individual attributes (such as, background, relevant work experience, extracurricular activities, etc.). The quality of the application statement also plays a role. It must be concise, well-articulated, engaging, etc. Students must apply to the degree programme prior to submitting their application for scholarship.
