About this scholarship
General Description
The GAA Scholarships at The Waterford Institute of Technology are a very integral in assisting athletes. Each year the Munster Council partially funds a number of scholarships. These scholarships are avaliable for hurling, men's and ladie's gaelic football, and carnogie. There are three levels of this award. Individual scholarship amounts are determined by the students academic and sport performance.
Requirements
The applicants must meet all the institute's qualifications.The scholarship students must compete at an International, National, Inter-provincial, Inter-County and/or Senior Club level within their respective sports. Scholarship students are expected to be active and dedicated to their club. The students must attain a high level of academic performance along with their sport performance.
