City of Vienna - Subsidies for Literature - Scholarships for Viennese Authors of the City of Vienna

General Description

The city of Vienna gives out four scholarships for Viennese authors and authors from the new generation. The scholarship is awarded in monthly amounts of €1,100. The scholarship will be awarded to writers who are working on a large literary work.

Requirements

Applicants must provide a written application. They must have been born in Vienna or have their residence there for at least three years. They must additionally provide: resume with (maximum 5.000 symbols), sample from the literary work that the scholarship should suuport (maximum 25,000 symbols), project proposal (maximum 5,000 symbols)
