General Description

The German Association for American Studies Association (DGfA) has the statutory objective to promote American Studies in Germany and to deepen scientific and cultural relations between Germany and the United States. For this purpose, every two years the United States Ambassador's Grant for Young Researchers in American Studies is awarded. This sponsorship enables the doctoral students to go on a 3-6 month research stay in the United States. The scholarship amount is 5.000, - Euro.

Requirements

Applications are open to doctoral students from all disciplines whose dissertation is related to American Studies. The application is possible at any time of the promotion.
