Government of Guatemala - Guatefuturo Student Loan Scheme

General Description

Guatefuturo educational loans are intended to promote the education and training of Guatemalan professionals abroad, through financial support for postgraduate studies. Funding will be provided for an amount of up to US$25000 a year, for a maximum to two years. Students with a good academic record can have up to 50% of their loan debt forgiven.

Requirements

Applicants must be graduate students who have been already admitted to the University where they are planning to study and have achieved the required standards of foreign language proficiency. Candidates must be nationals and residents of Guatemala.
