General Description

The Laser Institute of Mittelsachsen (LIM) provides grants for the promotion of young scientists in the field of laser technology and photonics. Scholarships can be applied for the training of students as well as for participation in and implementation of research projects. The amount of funding is determined individually. The duration of the scholarship is also individually decided. Possible funding amounts from 50 to 150 EUR per month.

Requirements

The scholarship is available for students of the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida of the course of Engineering Physics. An application is possible at any time of the study. To be eligible for this scholarship, the average score in the current or most recently completed studies must be below 2.5. In addition to the previous average mark, special achievements in the field of laser technology, which must be proved by evidence, reports, publications or academic work will be included in the evaluation. In this category there are no requirements.
