General Description

The TOEFL® Program provides a number of scholarships and grants in several countries. These countries are Australia, Mainland China, India, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. In some of these countries the scheme is still under development.

The awards available and amounts given depend greatly on the country. For Japan there are 6 prizes worth $7,000 each. For Korea, 24 students were awarded 3,000,000 KRW each.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria are different for each country. However, academic merit and financial need are usually taken into account.
