University of Gothenburg - Sten-Olof Palm scholarship

General Description

The trade association Göteborgs Köpmannaförbund in Gothenburg offers a scholarship for students in the business economics field at Handelshögskolan, University of Gothenburg. This scholarship comes in two parts: a one-year internship at the Swedish American Chambers of Commerce Inc. in Washington D.C, and a scholarship amount covering expenses during the internship. The main goal of the scholarship is to stimulate interest in the special conditions, challenges and opportunities faced by future international and domestic wholesale and retail. The internship usually occurs from September to August.

Requirements

To apply for the scholarship, the student need to have completed Bachelor's Degree at Handelshögskolan, University of Gothenburg, with good academic results and completed his or hers candidate thesis in spring or fall semester the year before the internship.The degree must be completed at the time of application.The tudent should be fluent in English, both spoken and written, and a granted visa the the United States. Proven interest and experience in the trade field.
