General Description
The McKinsey & Company awards two scientific prizes annually in recognition of a distinguished PhD thesis in one of the following areas: exact sciences, applied sciences, social, economic or management sciences, biomedical sciences. The prize money is €5,000. One award is allotted to a PhD candidate in the Flemish speaking community and one to the French speaking community.
Requirements
You should hold a PhD degree and have successfully defended your PhD during the calendar year preceding the award. You should be affiliated with a Flemish university. You must not have already won a prize for the submitted work. The researcher needs to demonstrate the impact of his PhD thesis in terms of social and economic relevance or practical implementation.
