General Description

The Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften offers the Stipendium der Monatshefte für Chemie for doctoral candidates who plan to complete their doctoral dissertation within a year. A monthly amount of 2900 euro will be provided for a maximum of 12 months.

Requirements

This fellowship is open to students registered as doctoral candidates in the field of Chemistry at an Austrian higher education institution, who are already in the third year of their PhD and therefore are set to finish their thesis in less than 12 months. Applicants will be required to submit a summary of their dissertation and a positive assessment by their respective thesis supervisors.
