About this grant / loan

General Description

Supporting students and helping them to excel in the economy is one of the primary goals of the Postgraduate Financial support package. This support is targeted at underrepresented groups to give them career opportunities and encourage them to a pursue postgraduate degree. This scholarship is funded by the institutions HEFCE and the Footsteps Fund. The award is worth £10,000 and is paid in cash installments.

Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the financial criteria. They must also intend to study at the University of Leeds on a postgraduate programme leading to an MA, MBA, MEd, MMus, MPH, MRes, MSc or LLM. The applicant also needs to be a UK student and pay full tuition fees.
