General Description

The Vegetarian Charity offers grants in the region of £500 for young vegetarians.

Requirements

The Vegetarian Charity Trustees consider applications for financial assistance from young vegetarians up to and including the age of 25 years for specific courses or projects or in cases of individual poverty. Each application is considered on its merit and it is not possible to say in advance whether or not it will be successful. Postgraduate applications will only be considered in exceptionally difficult personal circumstances. When considering applications the Trustees take into account efforts made by applicants to improve their financial situation. Any evidence of employment or efforts made to find work (or conversely reasons why they have been unable to do so, such as medical certificates) must be included.
