AFFDU (French Association of University Women)/Elsevier - Elsevier Mathematics Grant

General Description

AFDU, the French Association of University Women, in collaboration with Éditions Elsevier-Sciences, offers a grant to one female mathematics student who is in the process of finishing her doctoral thesis or is currently doing post-doctoral research. The grant, in the amount of 1,000 euros, should preferably cover a study or research project involving travelling to or outside of France. The recipient is also encouraged to submit an article based on her research to the prestigious magazine Le Bulletin des Sciences Mathématiques.

Requirements

Only female students members of AFDU or one of its affiliates abroad can apply for this grant. Candidates must be 40 years of age or younger. The grant is open to all female students, irrespective of nationality.
