General Description

The Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg sponsors in cooperation with the Foundation of the metal industry talented doctoral students. They receive a scholarship amounting to 1,200 Euro per month. In addition, grants for travel expenses, materials and printing costs may be received. The scholarship has a duration of two years.

Requirements

Eligible applicants are doctorate students of the subject areas of biology, chemistry, computer science, physics and economics. There must be a plausible link between the research topic and themes of the electrical and metal industry. Applicants should be able to prove their outstanding scientific talent through appropriate course achievements and examinations. In addition, the quality of the proposed research project is crucial for the success of the application. There are no personal requirements.
