General Description

A number of scholarships for students or alumni is offered by The Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. The goal is to allow all candidates that meet requirements to take part in the Summer or Winter Intensive Course run by School of Modern Greek Language. Regulations of awarding scholarships are defined by University's Scholarship and final decisions are made by the university's council.

Requirements

The candidate for the modern Greek language course should fulfill following requirements: Summer language course is available for a student or alumni of Greek or foreign unversity that signed Inter-University Agreement of Scientific Cooperation, Summer language course is available for a student or alumni from Greece or Albania, Moldova, Romania, Hungary and Czech Republic, Summer or winter language courses are available for student or alumni from Southern Italy and Sicily (three places available during summer course and one place during winter course).

Final selection of applicants is done by the Studies Committee on the recommendation of the competent authorities in the faculties and departments.
