General Description

The Justus Liebig University in Gießen has offered scholarship within the capacity of the Germany Scholarship Programme of the Federal Government. The Germany Scholarship consists of a monthly sponsorship in the amount of 300 Euro. The scholarship is initially disbursed for a year and can be, in accordance with academic performance, be extended to the length of the course of study.

Requirements

Fundamentally, current students in all faculties can apply for the Germany Scholarship. This Germany Scholarship is intended for students currently enrolled at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen. The application can be submitted at any point in the course of study. Current students in the first academic semester should possess an outstanding grade point average in their Abitur (school leaving examinations). Students beyond their second academic semester must demonstrate outstanding achievement in their course of study to date. Moreover, social involvement will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of the application.
