Newcastle University - GL Noble Denton Undergraduate Scholarship

General Description

GL Noble Denton funds undergraduate scholarships available for Newcastle University students. Awards of £3000 per year for three or four years of study may be made; continuation after the first year will be subject to good performance.

Requirements

These scholarship is open to Home students pursuing a degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering at Newcastle University. Candidates must be able to demonstrate financial need. Applicants must submit a covering letter, a brief CV, a copy of proof of entitlement to a student loan, and a copy of their passport or birth certificate. Applications will be judged on academic potential, enthusiasm, and aptitude. The recipients are required to undertake a summer placement with GL Noble Denton in Newcastle at the end of their second year and to send annual progress reports.
