General Description

The charitable Hertie-foundation supports future educators financially with its Horizonte-scholarship. Foundationers get 550€ every 6 months for 3 years and a one-time payment of 750€ in order to buy PC equipment. They will also benefit from two multiday learning workshops once a year that focus on language, communication, burden, relief that an educator has to deal with, in addition to prejudice-conscious education/variety in the nursery, developmental psychology and educational research.

Requirements

In order to apply for the scholarship, educators must begin their three-year apprenticeship as a officially recognized educator at a professional school or started their studies in the field of early child education at a University in Hesse or Rhineland-Palatinate. Applicants need to provide evidence of their scholastic achievements.
