General Description

The German Institute for Japanese Studies supports young scientists by awarding doctoral scholarships. For this purpose a grant of € 2,400 is paid monthly. The duration of the grant is from 3 to a maximum of 12 months. In addition, the cost of flight arrival and departure are refunded.

Requirements

All doctoral students who are writing a dissertation on a Japan related research can apply. For the research project, a stay in Japan is required.
