General Description

The goal of the Hamburg Scientific Foundation is to support scientific research in Hamburg. To this end, the Foundation awards grants for small- and medium-sized research projects. The amount of the grants is determined according to the individual projects. Applicants may be supported e.g. with material costs, travel costs, printing costs etc.

Requirements

The stipend is intended for scientists conducting a research study with relevance to Hamburg. Doctoral students tend only to be awarded the grants in exceptional cases. Applicants must be enrolled at a university in Hamburg.
