General Description
The Dermot Keogh Prize in Irish History is to mark Professor Keogh's long association with University College Cork. He was a professor in the Department of History from 1980 until 2010. The student of the School of History at the university who produces the best undergraduate dissertation or long essay on either Irish diplomatic history or the history of Church-State relations in Ireland, will receive this prize.
Requirements
To be eligible students of the School of History must produce the best undergraduate dissertation or long essay. The topic must be on either Irish diplomatic history or the history of Church-State relations in Ireland.
