General Description

The Jean Jaurès Foundation offers an award for Masters dissertations in history and political science. The thesis must focus on the history of the socialist movement, French or abroad, from it's origins today. It must be a study of political and advocacy organisations, geographical, social and electoral implementation but also analysis of events, highlights and ideas of socialism, or course of national and local officials. The award includes a cash prize of €1000 and publication.
