Bridge Fellowships at UMONS

You will receive a short-term grant of 80% of a UMONS assistant's salary to bridge the gap between two research contracts whilst you complete your PhD. It applies exclusively to this transitional period. The grant is provided by the Research Council (CRECH) of the Université de Mons (UMONS) in Belgium. It secures your funding during the weeks or months between the end of your current funding and the start of your next research contract, ensuring that your doctoral thesis does not come to a standstill.

• Who it is for: You are a PhD student at UMONS.
• Your situation: Your current grant is coming to an end, and a new research contract is about to begin. This grant bridges the gap between the two.
• What you show: You submit your doctoral thesis with your application.
• Field of study: Open to all subjects.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
