Aarhus School of Architecture - Vola Scholarship

Benefit

You receive a one-off travel grant of DKK 15,000 (about 2,010 EUR) when you graduate from the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. The money is yours to spend on travel. Each graduation cycle, one or two graduates win it; in 2025 two people each received DKK 15,000. The award is given by VOLA, a Danish design company founded by Verner Overgaard, together with his family foundation Verner Overgaards Familiefond.

Eligibility

• University: You study at the Aarhus School of Architecture (Arkitektskolen Aarhus) in Denmark.
• Study phase: You are finishing your degree in the current graduation cycle.
• Field of study: Architecture.
• Your work: Your graduation project stands out in quality. A judging committee picks the winners based on these projects.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

There is no application. The judging committee selects winners from the graduating class based on their graduation projects. The award is presented at the school's annual graduation ceremony, usually in late June.
