What you get

You receive a one-time payment of about 1,340 EUR (around 10,000 DKK). It supports your education, study trip or research in the dairy sector, especially cheese production and distribution. The money comes from the Grosserer Rasmus Hansens Mindefond (Wholesale Merchant Rasmus Hansen's Memorial Foundation), a Danish foundation that has supported the dairy field since 1901. You may receive the support as a grant or as a loan.

Who can apply

• Your project: You have an education goal or a research project in dairy production or dairy distribution, with cheese as a particular focus.
• Who you are: You apply as an individual, or as an organisation or institution working with dairy products.
• Field of study: Your field is dairy, farming or food chemistry. Other fields are not funded.
• Grades: Your academic results count in the selection.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
• Where you study: Any institution is fine, but the support is for studying in Denmark.
• Background: A background in agriculture or dairy is a plus, but not required.
