Kirsten Schottlænders Fond scholarship

You receive a grant of around 1,340 EUR to study or research Iberian languages and cultures, meaning Spanish, Catalan or Portuguese language, literature or history. The foundation sets the exact amount for each applicant. You must spend the money in the same year you receive it, so plan your study trip, exchange, placement or publication for that year. The money can cover a study exchange, a work placement or project stay, or the cost of publishing your work. The Kirsten Schottlænders Fond is a Danish charitable foundation set up in 1980. It pays out once a year in early March.

Who can apply

• Field: Your study, research or project is about Spanish, Catalan or Portuguese language and culture.
• Who you are: You are a student, researcher or teacher in this field. You do not need a university link. Even upper-secondary school teachers can apply.
• University of Copenhagen: A link to this university is a plus, but not required.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

You apply through the online form on the foundation's website. Applications by post are not accepted.
