Vejstrup Valgmenighed - Peders Memorial Scholarship

What you get

You will receive a one-off grant of approximately 270 EUR. You can use this for further training or other necessary expenses. The money comes from the ‘Pedersminde Legat’, a charitable fund linked to Vejstrup Valgmenighed, an independent church congregation in South Funen, Denmark. It is intended for young people from the region who need financial support to continue their education.

Who can apply

• Where you come from: You were born or grew up in the parishes of Skårup, Vejstrup, Tved or Brudager on South Funen, or your parents live there. In exceptional cases, young people from the wider former Svendborg district can also apply.
• Financial need: You come from an orphanage or a low-income household and are unable to fund your education entirely yourself.
• Field of study: Any topic is fine.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality may apply, provided they meet the local requirements.

How to apply

Please request the application form from the fund’s board. Send them a stamped, self-addressed envelope so that they can return the form to you by post. The deadline is 15 March, and the grants will be awarded in March.
