Jens Zimmer Christensen at Hotel Maritime - Hotel Owners' Association's Anniversary Foundation

What you get

You get a one-off grant for further training in the hotel and restaurant industry. Awards vary in size. In recent years most of the money has gone to the best trainees in a nationwide competition for hotel and restaurant apprentices. One student, for example, received 10,000 DKK (about 1,340 EUR) towards studying at a hotel school in Switzerland. The grant comes from HORESTA, the Danish trade association for the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry.
