About this scholarship

Niels Brock Fonden grant for studying abroad

You will receive a scholarship for a period of study abroad. It is intended to fund a semester, a summer school or an internship abroad lasting at least 14 weeks. In exceptional cases, a shorter stay may also be approved. The stay must take place during the funding year, i.e. from January to December. The grant is provided by the Niels Brock Foundation, which is administered by Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College. The exact amount is not disclosed.

Who can apply

  • Your school: You study now, or studied before, at Niels Brocks Handelsgymnasium, the business-focused upper secondary school run by Niels Brock.
  • Where you go: Every country and every university abroad.
  • Field of study: Any subject.
  • Selection: The board favours capable and hard-working applicants.
  • Timing: Your stay abroad must not have ended by the time the committee considers your application in February.

How to apply

Send your application as a single PDF by email. Include a motivation, a budget, your Niels Brock leaving certificate, transcripts, references and your letter of acceptance. The acceptance letter can follow later if you do not have it yet. The deadline is 31 December each year, and the board decides around 15 February. You are told by email only if you win a grant; rejections are not sent.
