Varelotteriet's Scholarship

In the final round, you will receive a one-off payment of around 10,000 DKK (about 1,340 EUR). The exact amount varies from year to year, as it comes from donations received by the local trade association from the Varelotteriet, one of Denmark’s oldest lotteries. The money comes from the ‘Haandvaerker- & Industriforeningen for Ringsted og Omegn’ (Crafts and Industry Association for Ringsted and the Surrounding Area). It is used to support young people from the region who are undertaking vocational training.

Who can apply

• Your training so far: You trained as a skilled tradesperson at a master craftsperson's business or an industrial company in Ringsted and the surrounding area, or you attended the ZBC Ringsted vocational school (formerly EUC / Teknisk Skole Ringsted).
• What you are doing now: You have started further training in your own profession or field of expertise.
• Field of study: Your field of work is a trade or business with links to Ringsted.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Where you study: You are studying in Denmark. The type of educational institution does not matter.

How to apply

Please complete the official application form on the association’s website. Please submit it by post or email by 1 December. The Executive Committee will review all applications in December and inform each applicant of the decision directly.
