Agnes and Lawyer Magnus Winberg's Foundation scholarship

You get a grant of about 5,000 DKK (about 670 EUR) or more towards further studies in Denmark or abroad. The amount is set for each person. Grants below 5,000 DKK are given only to fund a concrete research project. The money comes from the Agnes og advokat Magnus Winberg's Fond, a Danish foundation that hands out about 206,000 DKK (about 27,600 EUR) each year to law students and other university students.

Who can apply

• Your studies: You are a law student at a Danish university or a fully qualified lawyer in any field of law. Other students at Danish higher education institutions may also apply, but law students and lawyers will be given priority.
• Link to Aalborg: Law students and lawyers connected to Aalborg municipality have priority.
• What the money funds: You are using it for further study in Denmark or abroad. Study visits of at least 3 months are preferred. Shorter stays will only be considered if they are linked to a specific research project. Group trips are not eligible for funding.
• Nationality and tax: You are a Danish citizen and pay the full amount of tax in Denmark.
• Savings: Your savings and assets amount to no more than 100,000 DKK (approximately 13,400 EUR).

How to apply

Print out the application form from the Foundation’s website and complete it by hand. Enclose your supporting documents, including letters of recommendation and a budget for your study visit. Send everything by post; applications sent by email will not be accepted. The application deadline is 1 June each year.
