General Description

Economic and Social Research Council Awards provides postgraduate research and training in the social sciences across a wide range of disciplines. The final decision on who gets one of the 65 that are available is made by the Doctoral Training Centres. The awards are given to those with a good record of academic achievement.

Requirements

Applicants must have a first or upper second class degree. They must also be a resident of the UK. For European Union students only the tuition fee waiver element is available.
