The Lisbon MBA Scholarship

You will receive a reduction in tuition fees of up to 40% of the programme fee for the full-time International MBA. The fee is 39,500 EUR, meaning the scholarship is worth up to approximately 17,500 EUR. The MBA programme lasts 12 months, begins in January and includes a one-month block in Boston at the MIT Sloan School of Management. It is taught in English and run jointly by two business schools in Lisbon, Nova and Católica. This scholarship is awarded to applicants whose background, nationality or international experience contributes to the diversity of the student body.

Who can apply

• Admission first: You must already have been admitted to the full-time International MBA programme. The decision on whether to award the scholarship is made as part of the admissions process, not before it.
• Degree: You have a bachelor’s degree.
• Work experience: You have at least 3 years’ professional experience.
• Tests and language: You must provide a GMAT or GRE result, as well as proof of your English language proficiency.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities. This award recognises, in particular, a diverse background, nationality or international experience.
• One choice only: The programme offers five types of scholarship, and you may only apply for one of them.

How to apply

You apply via the ‘Funding’ section of the MBA application form by answering the essay questions for this award. You submit it as part of one of the application rounds. For the programme starting on 2026, the application deadlines are 15 May, 10 June, 10 August and 1 September. You will be notified of the scholarship decision at the same time as your admission decision.
