Overseas Research Students Awards Scheme - Overseas Research Studentships

General Description

ORSAS awards are intended to assist overseas students to cover their fees. They cover the difference between international and UK/EU rates. They do not cover the UK/EU part. They also do not include travel expenses or stipend.

Requirements

In order to be eligible for these grants, students must meet the following conditions: They must be liable to pay overseas fees, they must be of outstanding merit and potential, they must not have previously studied at PhD or equivalent level and they may not have held an ORSAS award before. Applications are judged on academic ability and research potential.
