AFFDU (French Association of University Women) - AFFDU Grants (Archaelogy, History-Literature, Physics-Chemistry)

General Description

AFDU, the French Association of University Women, offers grants to female students of archeology, history or literature, and physics or chemistry. The candidates should be in the process of finishing their doctoral thesis or currently doing post-doctoral research. The grants, in the amount of 1,000 to 1,500 euros, should preferably cover a study or research project involving travelling to or outside of France.

Requirements

Only female students members of AFDU or one of its affiliates abroad can apply for these grants. Candidates must be 40 years of age or younger. The grant is open to all female students, irrespective of nationality.
