What you get

You will receive a one-off cash grant of around 270 EUR (about 2,000 DKK) if you are studying at the University of Copenhagen and are unable to cover your study costs yourself. Some students receive a higher amount. The University administers this fund as part of its joint scholarship programme (Fælleslegat), a collection of smaller funds which you can apply for in a single application.

Who can apply

• University: You are enrolled at the University of Copenhagen.
• Field of study: Open to all faculties and subjects.
• Financial need: You are unable to fund your studies yourself. That is the main criterion.
• Grades: Good academic results are an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are enrolled at the University of Copenhagen.

How to apply

You should apply online as soon as the call for applications is open. To do so, use the link on the KUnet student intranet (the university’s internal website; login required). On the form, tick the box for the joint scholarship programme (Fælleslegat). The application deadline is usually in November. Paper applications will not be accepted.
