General Description

The Evangelic study sponsorship awards 200 scholarships per year to doctoral candidates with outstanding achievements, no matter the subject. Aside from financial funding scholars get extensive educational offers. Applicants need to present their degree that allows them to get a doctorate. Foreign applicants need to study at a German University and be approved to obtain their doctorate. The scholarships are awarded based on the guidelines of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and amounts to 1050€ monthly including a research rate of 100€. The scholarship lasts one year and can be extended to up to 3 years.

Requirements

The funding is for doctoral candidates of evangelic belief at German Universities with outstanding academic achievements, must have their study completed in a timely manner and can present a degree that allows them to get a doctorate. The income and life situation are crucial for the award decision.
