General Description

The Bauhaus-University Weimar offers the scholarship program Equal Opportunities for Women and Family. It provides three funding options: The re-entry scholarship encourages women who interrupt their studies for family reasons for at least six months and want to complete their doctorate. The re-entry scholarship is granted for 12 months in the amount of 1,000 euros per month. The doctoral degree scholarship is granted to all women who finish their doctorate in the year of funding. It is granted for a period of a maximum of three months. The amount is 1,000 euros per month. The scholarship for graduates of artistic and creative programs is awarded for the implementation of projects. The funding amounts to 1,000 euros per month for a production period of 12 months.

Requirements

The scholarship is open to PhD students and graduates of artistic and creative programmes at the Bauhaus-University Weimar. The scholarship for graduates of artistic and creative programs (PhD Art / Design / Fine Arts / Art Media and Free doctoral candidates with appropriate orientation at the Faculty of Design and Media) is awarded to doctoral candidates enrolled at the Bauhaus University Weimar. A prerequisite for the re-entry scholarship is an interruption of the examination procedures for a minimum of six months due to parental or family leave. For the doctoral degree scholarship programme, work must be completed in the year of funding. The approval for promotion must be given. The scholarship is open to women only.
