General Description

The Bo Reicke Foundation awards scholarships to theologians who have graduated or are close to graduating for a semester of study at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Basel Evangelical Lutheran. The scholarship is granted for one semester and may be renewed for one more semester. It includes accommodation in a furnished room, and 687 euros per month for living expenses. Subsidies for health insurance and costs of enrollment are also covered.

Requirements

The scholarship is open to students of theology enrolled at an accredited university or college that are at the end of their studies, and theology students that have already graduated. Candidates must have good German language skills and a willingness to participate in the life of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Basel. The scholarship is aimed at Lutheran theologians.
