General Description
Every two years, the Region of Midi-Pyrenées organizes the Fermat Junior Award in mathematics. Undergraduate students are invited to submit an elegant new demonstration of a mathematical result in ten pages or less. The winning student receives a prize valued at 2,000 euros.
Requirements
The award is open to students of France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium. Participating undergraduate students must be 22 years of age or younger.
