About this grant / loan

Haute Ecole Provinciale de Hainaut-Condorcet financial support

You will receive one-off financial help to cover your study costs. There is no fixed monthly amount. Instead, a social worker (a member of staff who helps with financial and personal problems) will determine an amount that is appropriate for your situation. You can spend the money on things you need, for example:

  • School materials, course notes and books
  • A computer or other IT equipment
  • Travel and transport
  • Meals and your student room
  • Your final-year project
  • Study trips, internships and seminars

The university’s social services department is responsible for providing support and has social workers based at each campus. They offer not only financial support but also advice and personal support.

Who can apply

  • Enrolment: You are enrolled as a regular student at HEPH-Condorcet in Belgium.
  • Field of study: All disciplines and all departments, at both Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Financial need: The income of the household on which you are financially dependent (or your own income, if you are self-supporting) is below the specified limits.
  • Documents: You must submit a certificate confirming your family circumstances, as well as evidence of any scholarships you have already received. You must also work with the social worker to draw up a financial plan for your upcoming study costs.

How to apply

Please complete the application form for financial support. You can obtain this from your department’s administration office or download it from the eCampus platform. You should then arrange an appointment with the social worker at your campus or drop in during their consultation hours. The Social Welfare Committee will then decide whether to grant the support.
