Benefit

You get around EUR 270 to help pay for your education from this Danish foundation. The money mainly helps with further study after school, or supports children who are still in ordinary schooling. The foundation was set up in 1949 in memory of tanner Vilhelm Flach and his wife Olga Mattesen.

Eligibility

This is not an open scholarship. You can apply only if you belong to one of these groups:

• Family link: You are a direct descendant of the founders Vilhelm Flach and Olga Mattesen, or the widow of one.
• Company link: You work or used to work for A/S Flach Holding or Carl Flach & A. Knudsens Garverier A/S, or you are the widow of such an employee.
• Field of study: All subjects are allowed.
• Financial need: Among those who qualify, the foundation picks the applicants who need the money most.

How to apply

Send your application by 1 October. Christian Flach Højgaard-Bülow in Horsens manages the foundation and receives applications.
