Parish of Odden - Farm owner of Overby Peter Nielsen and wife's Commemoration Scholarship

Benefit

You will receive a one-off scholarship payment towards your education. The amount is not disclosed. The scholarship is awarded every year around Christmas to young men and women who have demonstrated genuine talent and commitment beyond their compulsory schooling. The scholarship is administered by the parish of Odden (Odden Sogn) in Denmark.

Eligibility

• Where you are from: You were born in the parish of Odden on Sjællands Odde, live there now, or have lived there in the past.
• Field of study: There are many possible paths to take after school, including an apprenticeship, a career in business, a university degree or a career in the arts.
• Your record: You have demonstrated great ability and commitment beyond the required period of schooling.
• Financial situation: You can provide a detailed account of your financial situation so that your needs can be assessed.
• Proof of study: You may present a copy of your student ID card.

How to apply

Please send a written application by post or email to the parish priest (sognepræst) in Odden. Please include details of your educational background, full documentation of your financial situation and a copy of your student ID card. The application deadline is at the end of November, and the decision on who will be awarded the grant will be made around Christmas.
