Hanne Jakobsen's Commemoration Scholarship

You will receive a one-off cash grant to help you get through a financial emergency. The amount of the grant is not published and is determined on a case-by-case basis. The fund has been supporting people from the former Haslev area since 1901. It is administered by the municipality of Faxe, the local authority in southern Zealand (Denmark).

Who can apply

• Where you live: You live in the former municipality of Haslev, which is now part of the municipality of Faxe.
• Financial need: You are finding it difficult to make ends meet for reasons beyond your control.
• Field of study: Any field. This is a general social grant, not tied to a subject.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality may apply, provided they live in the region.

How to apply

You should submit your application to Faxe Municipality, either online via borger.dk or by post. Describe your circumstances and provide details of your financial situation using a household budget and your tax documents. The deadline is 1 November.
