Doctor Dorff Kjeldsen and Wife's Foundation grant

You receive a one-off study grant of around 670 EUR towards your medical studies. The amount depends on your financial situation, so the application asks about your state student support (SU), work income, savings and taxable income. The grant is run by Aalborg Katedralskole (Aalborg Cathedral High School), which manages the foundation set up in 1971.

Who can apply

• Your old school: You have completed upper secondary education at Aalborg Katedralskole, having obtained either the STX (general upper secondary school leaving certificate) or the HF (higher preparatory examination).
• Field of study: You’re studying medicine.
• Progress: You have completed at least 6 semesters (3 years) of your medical degree.
• University: You can study medicine at any Danish university.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Financial situation: The benefit is means-tested, so you will need to provide details of your income, savings and any special needs you may have.

How to apply

Please use the foundation’s official application form, which you can download from the Aalborg Katedralskole website, and submit it to the school office. The deadline is the Friday of the week 46, in mid-November. The exact date is stated on the form.
